Why is the money very important in the world ?
The rich people can tasting various facilities, how about the pour people ?
The most bank give a car as a gift to the people who have the most money.
And we can say that the people who win the gift is a rich people.
Why rich people gived money ? For What ?
Hhhhmmm, that is just one of example that the money very important in the world.
The people who have much money would be an advantage.
Yeah, We need much money to get everything that we want.
So, how if we don't have much money to buy everything that we want ?
We can only to dream if someday we can get that and absolutly we must work hard, let alone you don't have occupation yet.
You are only to dream if your parents can give you money, but how if they can't ?
How if you hadn't the heart to asking for money to your parents because every night you see your parents go home with tired face ?
And then you will know if you must to make a serious effort to achieve an aim.
Don't see the people who can get much money easily.
You must see the people who harder to get money than you.
Relaxed, someday your dreams will come true although you must waiting for a long time.

KKN Ku…..(lupa tahunnya)

Saat menjelang berakhirnya kuliah, aku mengikuti program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Kebetulan dapat lokasi di Kabupaten Kendal-Jawa Tengah. Aku ditempatkan di, desa Winong , Kecamatan Pegandon –Kendal.

Saat KKN itulah pertama kali aku berinteraksi secara langsung dalam suatu komunitas dengan teman2 Mahasiswa dari Fakultas lainnya. Semuanya ada tujuh orang, dari Fakultas Kedokteran, Ekonomi, Sastra, Teknik Sipil, Peternakan , Hukum dan SosPol. Kami ditempatkan di Rumah Pak Kades.Rumah itu sudah berdinding tembok tapi masih bata kasar dan berlantai tanah. Kami tidur terbagi dalam dua kamar, masing2 untuk Laki dan Perempuan .

(Srex,Manfaluti, Roric, Indri, Titin, Parno, Abdul)
Untuk mandi kami yang Laki kebagian jatah untuk menimba air dari sumur. Susahnya ternyata teman yang Perempuan paling banyak menghabiskan jatah air…hehe. Tapi sebagai gantinya mereka mau nyetrikain pakaian kita.

Kami menjalankan program KKN selama 3 bulan, Setiap Fakulas memiliki program Kecamatan, dan tiap Desa memiliki program bersama. Kalau sekarang, dengar2 cuma 1 bulan ya..? Bahkan ada juga Universitas yangg nggak pake program KKN…hehe…

The mask

A few days ago, My friend - Dita - asked me why many people wear a mask in their life.
Why they don't show their real self ??

Many people looked cheerful, happy, and always smile.
Have you think about their true life ?
They are realy happy or they just looked happy ?
They wear a mask because they don't want the other people know their sadness.
They want to looked strong, happy, and cheerful, although they feel lonely and always cry.

You can wear a mask or many masks, but after a long time, you will be tired.
You may lose your real self.
You must take down your mask and back to the fact.
Although It's so hard for you.
After you take down your mask, you will be stronger than before.

China Glaze 'Tis the Season to be Naughty or Nice part II

I'm sorry my posting is so disjointed lately.  We've had some drama in our lives lately.  If anyone noticed my little gripe on Twitter last week...We had a friend get arrested for a DUI.  She's currently going through a divorce and they're having a custody issues with their 22 month old daughter.  Long story short, she didn't want her DH to find out, but since this isn't the first time drinking has been a major issue we felt it wasn't something that should be hidden from him.  We told him, she's pissed...it goes on.

Last week I posted part 1 of China Glaze's 'Tis the Season to be Naughty and Nice Holiday collection.  I'll probably finish swatching it sometime this weekend...but I did want to post more more photo's.

Mrs. Claus

Mrs. Claus has a sheer red, jelly-ish base and small pieces of pink glitter.  The glitter is a bit more sparse than what a lot of people were expecting.  I have 3 coats on in the above images.  I kind of like it still!  It's quite blingy...perfect for the holidays.  If you were to layer it over something it would probably be even better...I've never been much into layering though...only doing it when I have to.

Party Hearty

Speaking of layering...Party Hearty is going to be the perfect go-to layering polish for Christmas!  It's has a clear base packed with large, red hex glitter, smaller green round glitter, and even smaller silver and gold glitter.  I have 3 coats on in the above images.  My only problem is deciding which polish to layer it over for the holiday!

Mistletoe Kisses

Mistletoe Kisses is sheer-ish green jelly packed with tiny, silver glitter.  It's pretty unique and probably one of my favorites of this collection.  Coverage is really good...I have 3 very thin coats on in the above images.  It's one of those polishes that you don't want to take off when you're swatching.  :)

Jolly Holly

Jolly Holly is a deeply pigmented green shimmer.  For some reason, while I had it on all I could think of was Sinful San Francisco.  Looking at the pictures, though, they're not close at all.  This is much deeper and more rich.  It really is a beautiful green...the shimmer is multi-color in the right light.  I couldn't say enough about application...very smooth.  I have 3 coats on in the above images...although most people seem to be getting away with 2.

Misteri Tuhan

Ok...So, I'm in my brothers wedding next October.  It's a huge honor, and I'm excited, but I found out the what bridesmaid dress looks like:

Ok...I'm not a size 2...I'm overweight and well-endowed.  I'm really nervous about this dress.  I have no idea how I'm going to wear a bra...and I NEED to lose a considerable amount of weight so that I don't feel like a cow in the dress.  HELP ME!!!!!  Please...tips, advice...Anything.

I woke up this morning to find this press release and photos in my mailbox:

These are going to be brought to us by the same company that's behind Color Club nail polish.  I'm interested in these because, as I said before, I suck at nail art.  Mad for Plaid look especially cute! 

Honesty.....such a lonely word

Hari Minggu sebelum lebaran kurban kemarin kami sekeluarga ber empat bepergian untuk ber ziarah ke makam ke 2 orang tua ku. Perjalanan sekitar 300 Km, kami start dari rumah jam 6 pagi.
Sepanjang perjalanan anak2 & istri begitu bersemangat, mereka saling bergurau dengan cerita2 lucu , juga main tebak2 an yang buntutnya jawaban-jawaban konyol. Anak pertama ku sepanjang perjalanan menyetel CD lagu2 pop Indonesia terus, lama kelamaan adik nya bosan. Aku tahu kalo adik nya itu agak antik….., dia suka sekali dengan lagu2 irama Jazz (smooth jazz) Akhirnya dia ganti track CD lagu pop dg yg jazz.
Nah…kakak nya marah; “Kamu itu gimana to dik..lagi enak2 dengerin kok kamu ganti..!” Adik nya gak mau kalah, balas teriak; “ aku ngak suka lagu mu !!, aku suka nya yg Jazz !! aku mau dengerin…!! ”.

Kakak nya tambah marah; “ Kamu itu aneh !......masih kecil kok sukanya lagu-lagu orang tua !, ikut-ikutan papa ya… kumis aja belum numbuh.....”.
Adik nya dengan suara bergetar balas ngomong; ” Biarin...!! aku pokoknya nggak suka lagu mu!! Aku mau dengerin lagu yang aku suka! ”.

Aku diam aja, konsentrasi dg lalu lintas, karena mobil kularikan dengan kecepatan tinggi. Akhirnya Mama nya melerai; ” Sudah...sudah... kenapa mesti bertengkar sih...hanya soal lagu aja kok ribut...Mas !, kamu jangan jahat gitu dong sama adik mu.., kalo emang dia bilang kesukaan ya harus jujur...!”.

Aku spontan tersentak kaget....ada sesuatu di kalimat istriku yang membuat sel-sel neuron otakku terstimulasi.... ” KESUKAAN YA HARUS JUJUR ”..Ahhh.....

Akhirnya kakaknya mengalah dan mengalunlah lagu irama jazz, suasana menjadi tenang kembali, tapi otak ku berpikir terus mencerna kalimat yang diucapkan istriku barusan.
1 jam kemudian kami mampir isi BBM di pom bensin, terus pip sebentar. Kami kemudian melanjutkan perjalanan.

Iseng2 ku tanya ke istri; ” Ma, tadi kamu ngomong kalo kesukaan ya harus jujur...., maksudnya mama itu gimana?”
Istriku tertawa; ”Hahaha...itu tadi nggak kupikir waktu ngomong nya kok Pa..., cuma untuk melerai mereka aja...emang kenapa kok papa jadi mikir...? ada apa hayoooo......? kesindir ya......? ada yang papa suka ya......? ”
Ku jawab; ” Ahh nggak....., nggak ada apa-apa, cuma mikir aja, apa kita harus selalu jujur kalo kita suka ...? lalu kalo kita tidak suka .....apa ya kita harus jujur juga...?

Semuanya diam.........
Tenggelam dalam pikirannya masing-masing....mikir....Sepi.

An Angel

End then, I decided to design an angel.

First, I looked for inspiration.

Maybe, It's better if I painted on canvas, but I can't painted a good realist painting :((

I saw the picture on the bottle CITR* handbody.

So, I made an angel like a women on that picture.

I drew on the paper first, and then used CorelDraw.

Where have I been? and China Glaze holiday Part I

Wow...It's been about 3 weeks since I've posted!  We were hit up with sickness and then I just got REALLY busy at work.  DH had the flu about 2 weeks ago...now he has bronchitis.  The kids and I have been passing around a bug as well.  SO FUN!  Plus, our grading period ended last week at school, so I had mountains of grading to get done for my students report cards.   Things were just a bit hectic and something needed to give. 
I do appreciate all of you who were here checking and those of your that sent your well wishes with the crazy flu bug.  The kids and I are feeling better, and hopefully DH will be soon as well!

Well...I've slowly been swatching the new China Glaze 'Tis the Season to be Naughty and Nice Holiday collection.  They release 16 (!) polishes in this set!  I'm going to break it up in 4 posts of 4 polishes because my kids aren't going to let me sit down and swatch that many at once!  :)

Naughty and Nice

Naughty and Nice is a blackened plum creme.  I think the bottom picture is the best color-wise.  The other 2 make it look a TAD more red than it is.  Sorry for the awful condition of my index finger.  My cuticle looks terrible!  I have on 3 coats in these images.

Mommy Kissing Santa

Mommy Kissing Santa is a red shimmer.  Very pretty, and great coverage with 2 coats.  Near impossible for me since I apply such thin coats!  :)

Phat Santa

 
I'm normally not a fan of red or creme polishes, but I actually really like Phat Santa.  It has cooler undertones, so it works with my skin tone.  I have to say I kind of felt glamorous wearing it!  :)  I have 3 coats on in the above images.

Ruby Deer

Ruby Deer is a bit more of an orange-based red.  Photographing this and Phat Santa made me realize my camera doesn't like red nail polishes.  They end up looking almost neon.  I enjoyed wearing this color as well as Phat Santa...they gave me a new appreciation for creme's...although my fingers were red for some time.  lol
I'm wearing 3 coats in the above images.

I will get the rest of these up as soon as I can.  I still have some more to swatch.  It's quite a bit, and a bit of an overwhelming collection to swatch.  I really like all of them so far though!

SIDU Design Contest

Jadi, ceritanya waktu itu lagi baca-baca koran (cuma baca iklan2nya maksudku :p), eh nemu ada lomba desain buku tulis SIDU ! Lihat syarat2nya, eh ternyata lumayan gamapang ! Ikuuuuuuuuuuuuuut ah ! :))

Waktu itu gak ada tema tertentu, tapi aku malah jadi bingung ! hahahahaha,

Aku buka-buka majalah desain buat cari inspirasi. Tapi kok gak nemu2 ya ?! -_-'

Wah, ternyata mendesain itu mudah, tapi mencari inspirasi itu susah ! hahahaha,

Akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk bikin tema sendiri. Akhirnya, aku memutuskan 'Global Warming' sebagai tema desainku ! :))

Akhirnya jadi dua desain. Aku bikin dua desain karena maksimal boleh mengirimkan dua desain.

Buat cadangan juga, kalau yang satu gak menang, siapa tahu yang satu bisa menang ! *mengharap :p

Aku bikin full colour karena memang menurutku kan yang sering membeli buku tulis itu anak kecil. Aku juga ingin membuat anak-anak itu sadar untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya ! :))

Merapi Masih Menggeliat

Ceritanya ini lanjutan dari Makrab. Gosip Merapi erupsi (lagi) sekitar tanggal 30 Oktober 2o1o jam 1 malem ternyata emang bener. Waktu perjalanan pulang aja udah keliatan jalanjalan mulai putih, kendaraan putih, gedunggedung putih, bendera Indonesia merah putih :p Yang lebih WAOW lagi pas nyampe kampus UGM, semua benerbener putih tebel abu. Motormotor yang diparkir di kampus (termasuk motorku) juga jadi korban si abu putih. Helm jadi "tadah hujan+abu". Jarak pandang di jalanan cuma 10 meter.

Habis erupsi yang ini, Merapi sempet tidur sebentar. Tapi tak dinyana tak diduga Merapi menggeliat lagi. Tepatnya tanggal 5 November 2o1o dini hari. Yang ini erupsi paling dahsyat kayaknya. Soalnya hujan abunya sampe dirasain di daerah selatan, barat, timur. Pokoknya ngeri dah suasana kemarin. Memprihatinkan juga :(

Wedhus gembel mulai berjalanjalan

Terus pertanyaannya, kenapa musti Jogja? Akhirakhir ini Jogja banyak bencana. Apa bener kata orang, Jogja adalah Kota Malapetaka? Nggak lah!! Tapi nggak bisa dipungkiri juga, kalo ngeliat ramalan Jayabaya jadi agak mikr "kok mirip ya sama ramalannya?" Ini boleh dipercaya boleh nggak. Yang jelas yang diambil baiknya aja, yang jeleknya ditinggal aja.

Dan kemaren tibatiba Gata Gitu sms :
"Tementemen tolong bawain nasi bungkus kumpulin di Gelanggang UGM atau Maguwoharjo. Dari kemaren pengungsi belum makan. Cukup 3 bungkus aja per orang"

Liputan media

Kebayang nggak sih, dah jadi pengungsi, belum makan, rumah rusak, ternak hilang, lalalala itu sedih banget yaa T.T Akhirnya anakanak mutusin buat ngumpulin duit trus dibeliin makanan, air minum, masker, obat tetes mata. Waktu nganter kesana suasananya riweuh beud sampe bingung mau ngapain lagi.fyuh.

Harihari berikutnya Merapi menggeliat kecilkecilan. Anakanak pada mbantuin di dapur umum di daerah Bogem, Kalasan. Agendaku di sana : motong sayur sebagor, ngupas bawang merah bawang putih satu kresek gede, ngupas wortel, motongin tempe setampah, ngaduk nasi berpanci buesar, nyuci sayur sebagor, mbungkusin sayur, mbungkusin nasi, ngedinginin sayur, dll. Ini nyata yaa, nggak lebay :D Emang ihWAOW banget kalo ngeliat sendiri kesana. Wajar sih, kan buat makan beriburibu pengungsi.

Yaah, untungnya aku masih bisa berguna buat sesama, seenggaknya walau cuma sedikit, tapi menurutku itu lebih baik daripada nggak sama sekali. Semoga SaudaraSaudara disana baikbaik aja. Amin.

Oh iya, sebenernya selain 'proyek' dapur umum ini ada juga 'proyek' lain. Dari bos Gata ada proyek untuk buat toilet portable buat di pengungsian, dari bos hendro ada proyek trauma healing di Magelang sana. Gud lak bos! :D two thumbs up for us! aye.
